How To Write Value Driven Emails To Your Email List Subscribers

Me... I love to spend my Sunday mornings planning content for the week.

I have had several of my subscribers tell me that they don't know how to write useful content for their email list and blog.

This is not true. If you can help someone with a problem by talking with them, then you can certainly help someone by writing an email, or a post for your blog.

Writing an email or a blog post is as simple as talking...

In this "Webpreneur Q & A" I want to share with you how I come up with useful content for you.

I don't know how to write value-driven emails to my list. How do you do it?

First and foremost, it's a mindset

I always treat my online business as a real business. A business that supports me and my family financially, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.

This is my vocation for life -- To build businesses that helps others. So, I take this very seriously. I don't mind working long hours to build it the way I want it.

So, If I have to learn the skills to create content, I just go ahead and do it.

I never outsource email to my list subscribers. I believe that communication to your subscribers should not be outsourced. It should be YOU.

(In the past, I have outsourced email writing and I have learned it the hard way that it shouldn't be outsourced.)

I am an avid knowledge seeker

If you have committed yourself to a business, then learn everything about it. It's never ending, because things are always changing -- especially in technology.

Keep a note of everything new that you learn and share it with your people. I personally like to keep a notebook to write down every new thing that I learn. When I need an email, I simply refer to my notebook and pick a topic to write about.

I Listen to my Customers

If you are active with your customers, then listen to their questions and challenges. Write it down and refer back when you need ideas to share.

I Read

Reading is a habit. If you don't like to read, then push yourself to read more. Take a 90 day challenge to read a few pages from your favorite book. This will become a habit and you will have more confidence to express yourself creatively.

I Trust in my writing

Emails are informal communication in words. Write your emails just the way you normally speak and people will understand.

Email writing is a skill that you can learn by simply writing more. The more you do it, the more money you will make.

You can do it!

I hope this helped!
